At the BBI lab @HIT we develop technologies for brain imaging that can be used by clinicians to personalize treatment and assessment of patients suffering from brain disorders, sensory deprivation, or brain diseases.

We develop novel light-based sensors that employ different technologies such as acousto-optics, fNIRS or time-domain, and also work on algorithms for signal processing. 

We believe that the integration of multi-modal sensing, including EEG or EMG, will enable personalized wearable sensing of different clinical conditions.
